development of all scales that will reduce the amount of surface
water entering the combined sewer and help mitigate
flooding.

Prior to the cabinet decision, a formal 6-week
public consultation on the Draft SPD will have taken place in line
with Planning legislation for the adoption of SPDs, including
consultation with a number of statutory consultees and the general
public
