This committee was
known as the ‘Policy and Scrutiny Committee for Adult Social
Care and Health’ prior to May 2019.
The purpose of this
committee is to perform the Council’s statutory health
scrutiny function under the legislation (including the power of
referral to the Secretary of State), and to perform the Policy and
Scrutiny functions relating to the remit of the Cabinet Member
responsibility for Adult Social Care and Public Health matters.
