To confirm as a true record the Minutes of the meeting held on 11 June 2024.

RESOLVED:

THAT the minutes of the meeting held on 11 June 2024 be approved.

To invite members to declare any interest they might have in the matters on the agenda.

There were no declarations made at this stage.

To consider passing a resolution that, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business, namely Agenda item numbers 5a and 5b, on the grounds that there is likely to be the disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act and in all circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

RESOLVED:

THAT, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business, namely minute numbers 12a and 12b on the grounds there is likely to be the disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act and in all circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

To consider appeals relating to home-to-school transport:

The Children’s Services representative advised that following futher investigation home to school transport had been awared, therefore the appeal had been withdrawn.

The appellant was not in attendance. Consideration was given to an appeal relating to Home to School Transport. Following oral representation by the Children’s Services representative, questions were asked by members of the Sub Committee.the appellants case was considered on the paperwork provided.

RESOLVED:

THAT home to school transport is refused in accordance with the policy.
