Purpose:

The Isle of Wight Athletics club have made a request to consider the renaming of Fairway athletics track in Sandown in memory of Ray Scovell who sadly passed away this year. Ray’s dedication to the club and the track has spanned more than 30 years.

Decision:

To agree to the request from the Isle of Wight Athletics Club and to change the name to the Ray Scovell Athletics Centre in 2022.
